Capacity building of the health workforce is a crucial strategy to improve TB care and its outcomes. The challenge for the NTEP health workforce is to refer to different sources of guidelines, algorithms (diagnostic, treatment, etc.) and access knowledge daily despite routine training, which iterated the need for the availability of digital-ready reckoners, that can provide knowledge and enhance the decision-making ability of the health workforce. To address the challenge, the Closing the Gaps in TB Care Cascade (CGC) Project innovatively designed and developed the “Ni-kshay SETU” App aligning with the NTEP technical and operational guidelines. It enables the NTEP health workforce to make an informed decision and ensure quality treatment to the TB patients during different TB care cascades. The App also helps the NTEP officials to find the knowledge gap among the NTEP health workforce.
