The ILOS WiFi localization tool is used to collect Wi-Fi Received Signal Strength (RSS) information indoors and annotate the collection location. This allows localization models to be trained on the data that can predict a device's location from RSS. This tool allows a user to collect RSS data on predefined paths with any number of turns, enabling fast RSS fingerprinting. Using this application to collect data, WiFi localization accuracy of 3.80m can be achieved within a 70m by 80m building in under 45 minutes of data collection.
