mEMA10 is not a stand-alone app; as is, it doesn't do much. Instead, mEMA10 is a tool that lets organizations offer pop-up questionnaires and guides known as ecological momentary assessments (EMA).
To get started using EMAs offered by an organization using mEMA10, download the app and enter the individual and group/organization codes provided to you by the organization. mEMA10 will download that organization's content for you to use.
In some cases, the organization may use video, photos or audio as an alternative to typed responses. If that's the case for you, please provide permission to access the media devices required.
In some cases, the organization may use your location to present the right EMA at the right place and time. If that's the case for you, please provide permission to access your location when prompted.
In some cases, the organization may schedule various EMAs on specific days and times. If that's the case, mEMA10 will need permission to schedule alerts to remind you that it's time to complete your EMA.
In other cases, the organization may use your Garmin watch to present an EMA based on the information it's collecting. This will require you to have a real time Bluetooth connection to your Garmin watch.
If you have any questions about what permissions your EMAs require, please ask your contact in the organization that's providing the EMA.
