IMDoc is a digital health tool to help patients with immune-mediated diseases (IMIDs). This App has been designed within the framework of a public multicenter research project (PI22/00777) in which researchers from 5 hospitals in our country participate: Hospital Universitario La Paz, Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal, Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor, Hospital Universitario Vall d'Hebron and Bellvitge University Hospital. For its development, professionals specialized in biomedical engineering from the Biotechnology and Telemedicine Group (GBT) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid have been involved.
*IMPORTANT*: The use of IMIDoc, for the moment, is intended only for voluntary patients discharged by the physicians of the aforementioned centers and who participate in the clinical study of the project. Therefore, if you are not a study volunteer you will not be able to use it. In the future we hope to increase the possibilities and reach more users.
Through IMIDoc, volunteer patients in the clinical study will be able to keep a record of the disease activity that allows the health professionals involved to carry out close and continuous monitoring electronically.
In IMIDoc users will find the following functionalities:
- Questionnaires to monitor activity, quality of life and health status
- Calendar with reminders to facilitate day-to-day management of the disease (consultation date, medication taking reminders, etc.)
- Graphs with the evolution of the main parameters
- Record of incidents related to the disease that professionals will review to guide users with the best way to proceed
- Notifications and messaging
- Educational and informative material for health self-management
