Bangladesh Premier League (abbreviated as BPL) is the professional T20 cricket league of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Cricket Board organized the first BPL in 2012. The first season of BPL started on 10 February 2012. Dhaka Gladiators won the first and second season of BPL. In 2015, Comilla Victorians won the title for the third season, participating for the first time as a new team. In the following 2016 season, the new team Dhaka Dynamites regained the Dhaka title.

The 5th season of BPL starts from 2nd November 2017. Sylhet Sixers has been added as a new franchise. Rangpur Riders became champions in this tournament. On February 8, 2019, Comilla Victorians defeated Dhaka Dynamites in the 6th edition of the BPL to become champions for the second time. Last, on 18 February 2022, Comilla Victorians became champions for the third time after defeating new team Fortune Barisal 1–1. to run
