The author's full name is Yahya bin Nur ad-Din Abi al-Khoir bin Musa al-Imrithi as-Syafi'i al-Anshori al-Azhari, nicknamed Syarof ad-Din. He was a scholar of the 16th century AD who was an al-Azhar scholar. His other nickname is an-Nadzim, because of his expertise in making nadzom. And his work in the form of the most famous nadzom, of course the book of Imrithi we are discussing here.
