Siddhartha Gautama or Buddha was born about 2600 years ago. Born a prince with everything he could wish for, he began to realize as he grew older that not even a life as a prince could protect him from suffering or bring him the happiness he wanted in his life.

So even when he was very young he moved away from his family and life of luxury to live experiences of the outside world in a search for himself and where he finally began to accumulate important life lessons.

The search for inner wisdom led him deeper and deeper into meditation and it is in this distraction-free state that he found the happiness and fulfillment he sought, all within himself.

This is what the Buddha preaches through his teachings and philosophy, his full knowledge and understanding of life, happiness, health, and relationships with oneself and with oneself.
