It's the beginning of 1977, Radio Talpa was born in Cattolica and fully fits into the great phenomenon of free radio and movements. Radio Talpa becomes a great collective experience that brings together hundreds of young people from all over the area. It broadcasts great music on FM, provides information and counter-information, opens the microphones to those who have always been excluded from it. It organizes concerts, exhibitions, cultural and recreational events. Therefore not just radio, but a 360° cultural and social project that is widely shared and recognized. Passion, volunteering, creativity and self-financing are the secrets of success. At the end of 1984, for various reasons, the experience ended and Radio Talpa closed its broadcasts.

But people who live strong and virtuous experiences keep in touch, see each other again and that hint of utopia returns to manifest itself. The push comes in the autumn of 2014 with a series of events to commemorate 30 years of the closure. And then exhibitions, conferences, concerts, a book that tells us about it, parties... and a lot of people who follow us. Too good to leave it there, it would also be ungenerous towards a massive request to start again.

It's April 2015, Radio Talpa reappears but as a Web Radio. Radio Talpa lives again! It regenerates and renews itself. Having closed the first historical cycle 1977-1984, Radio Talpa continues with great music that is widely representative in various genres and with old and new collaborators. In Cattolica there is now a multipurpose and multimedia container which is divided into a virtual space RadioTalpa: web radio, website, Facebook and other social networks and opens a physical one SPAZIO°Z (via Del Prete, n. 7): place of The meeting and headquarters of the radio, newspaper editorial office (the Talpa News magazine), is available for cultural associations, citizen committees, young creatives. Exhibitions, small concerts, book presentations, conferences, etc. are organized here. In short, once again the radio becomes the driving force of a broad, aggregative and creative cultural project. Radio Talpa is also the promotion (and media partner) of musical, cultural and entertainment events not only in Cattolica, but across a vast territory of Romagna and Marche.

Radio Talpa, a long and rich history that deserves to be listened to and participated. The programs (24 hours a day) range from good music, always with the idea of ​​proposing musical culture, to informative ones dealing with current topics.
