St. Joseph's College of Law is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, Hubbali.


Jesuits, who belong to the Society of Jesus, have a solid 450-year-old legacy of working in the field of education. Many of our institutions are highly acclaimed and of exemplary quality. The St. Joseph’s College of Law (SJCL), administered by the Bangalore Jesuit Education Society (BJES) and established in 2017-18, was the first Jesuit Law college in South Asia. The College of Law hopes to fill a gap in the legal needs of the country by providing quality education to students.
