MUSE mineEconomic is a protected bicycle store for storing and filling up to 8 electric bicycles with the production of electricity from renewable energy sources - solar power. Each e-bike parking lot has its own entrance or its doors, its own direct-charge socket and a cabinet for the collection of personal items or batteries, in case the wheel is not filled. The bicycle door has a built-in electric lock on which an access restriction system is connected. Access to the bicycle is possible with a mobile e-bike garage management application. The entry system has a control terminal for registration, management, possible payment and communication with individual e-bike garages. The terminal meets the minimum standards of IP54 (dust and water) and IK8 (shock and vandalism protection). The system covers the WLAN access point for connecting the control terminal to the network. The application connects all the components of the system to each other in a computer-controlled garage management system. Garages communicate with a server on which a software application running the system is installed. The software application allows you to check the available garages over the Internet and your mobile device.

Before the first use, users will have to register at the Grosuplje Municipality. The purpose is to provide free use of services - both storing and charging, but it is necessary to prevent the use for permanent purposes, such as "private garages", therefore a limit of approx. 12 hours. The goal of setting up a secure bicycle is to encourage people, both students and others who daily drive to study or work in Ljubljana, to use e-bikes as forms of sustainable mobility to enable them to safely store their e-bike and, if necessary, in the longer term, by extending the network of such cycling facilities, they will contribute to reducing traffic congestion, reducing pollution of the environment and noise, and challenging sustainable mobility and generating renewable energy.
