flexo is a local public transport bus service with barrier-free minibuses in the greater Braunschweig area.
At flexo there is no rigid timetable; the buses only run on request.
Software bundles travel requests and creates individual travel routes.
The software ensures that there is no parallel traffic with regular buses and also refers to the existing bus service.
In order to reach flexo easily and quickly, around 200 new bus stops were created for flexo in the Braunschweig region in addition to the existing bus stops.
All places where flexo stops (existing stops and new stops) are called flexo stops.
With the flexo app, travel requests can be easily requested and booked. Booking regular trips is also possible.
Simply enter the start and destination or select the nearest flexo stop on the map and request a ride.
The next possible trip with flexo is displayed.
If it meets your requirements, you can book it bindingly. At flexo the VRB tariff applies.
Tickets can be purchased at ticket offices, from bus drivers or in the “VRB Fahrinfo & Tickets” app. The Germany ticket and the Lower Saxony ticket are also valid when traveling with flexo.
Exceptions: The collective student season ticket is only valid from 4:00 p.m. on school days. The VRB short-haul ticket is not valid.
