The ZRE ToolBox includes the following applications of the VDI Center Resource Efficiency:

1. ZRE computer: The cost calculator of the VDI ZRE offers users in small and medium-sized enterprises a practical introduction to resource-based cost accounting. It enables an analysis of the cost structure and material and energy flows in the company and can thus be used to identify resource efficiency potentials. In addition, the calculator can assist the user in making investment decisions. The tool consists of four modules that can be used individually or sequentially as needed.

2. ZRE Checks: Want to know where your company or building is in terms of resource efficiency? Then do the test! We have prepared various resource checks for you with questions about the overarching topics of material efficiency, energy efficiency and employee involvement, which will help you to get an initial overview of possible savings potential in your company or building. Just select a suitable resource check and answer questions about your production or your building. Find out in the evaluation, where savings potential exists and with which measures and methods you can reduce resource consumption and increase material and energy efficiency.


After installation, the app can also be used without an Internet connection. All apps are also available free of charge on the VDI ZRE website www.ressource-deutschland.de.
