Welcome to a new edition of the Argentine Ornithology Meeting (RAO), which brings together ornithologists from both Argentina and neighboring countries. The slogan of the Meeting is "Rethinking Argentine Ornithology in the 21st century".

The XIX RAO is organized by the CONICET-CENPAT Scientific and Technological Center in conjunction with the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco and in collaboration with Aves Argentinas. The scientific program will include plenary lectures, symposiums, round tables, workshops and the presentation of papers in oral or poster format. These activities will be carried out mainly at the Scientific and Technological Center CONICET - CENPAT and at the University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco - Puerto Madryn Headquarters.
