IPOS is an application provided by Intel® and is meant for Chromebooks that are on display shelves at retailers.

This app requires trained technicians to complete installation. As part of installation, a technician will install this app and then load a zip file containing additional application files. This 2-step deployment prevents accidental misuse and ensures secure deployment of the app.

When deployed correctly and completely, IPOS helps shoppers discover features and specifications of a Chromebook. It contains experiences tailored for various combinations of device specifications, for example, a Chromebook built on the Intel® Evo™ platform, or a Chromebook with a 13th Gen Intel® processor and so on. To a shopper IPOS provides in-depth information about the device, complete with videos, images and interactive experiences, all designed to make the buying decision easier.
