Muhammad Metwally Al-Shaarawi (1329 - 1419 AH), a former Egyptian religious scholar and Minister of Endowments. He is considered one of the most famous interpreters of the meanings of the Noble Qur’an in the modern era. Where he worked on the interpretation of the Noble Qur’an in simple and general ways, which made it able to reach a larger segment of Muslims throughout the Arab world. Some called him the Imam of the Preachers.
