Assalamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters and friends. Hadith Sharif is an invaluable asset of the Muslim Millat, one of the essential sources of Islamic Shari'ah and one of the main foundations of Islamic life. During the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the Companions used to memorize the Hadith of the Prophet (PBUH) with great interest. Many had written some hadiths without the permission of the Prophet (pbuh). Thus, some of the hadiths were written in written form along with memorization of the Prophet's lifetime. Some of the companions, such as Ali, Hazrat Abdullah bin Omar, Hadrat Abdullah bin Abbas, Hazrat Anas bin Malik (R), wrote some hadiths. Hadrat Abu Hurairah said: "None of the companions knew more than I hadith except Abdullah bin Amr. Because, he used to write Hadith and I would not write it. Because of the fear of having the Hadith mixed with the Quran, the Qur'an did not dare to write the Hadith until the Qur'an was recorded in the complete Book. During the time of Hadrat Abu Bakr (ra), when the Quran was recorded in the Book of the Book, the Companions did not feel that there was any barrier to writing Hadith.
