The words which the qib is the plural form of manqabah, which means is the story of the good deeds of charity and the noble character of one's character.
So, reading manaqib means reading the story of the goodness of charity and the praise of someone's character. Therefore, the words where the qib is only special
for good and noble people, like Manaqib Umar bin Khattab, Manaqib Ali bin Abi Talib, Manaqib Syekh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani,
Manaqib Sunan Bonang, and so on. It is not right or not true that there are people who say Manaqib Abu Jahal, Manaqib DN Aidit and
other things.
