The virtues of reciting Surat Al-Israa and the reason for its revelation, Surat Al-Israa is the seventeenth surah of the Noble Qur’an and the number of its verses is 111. This noble surah was revealed after Surat Al-Qasas, and this surah was called Surat Al-Israa in reference to the great event of our Master, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family. This is an indication of the merit of reciting Surat Al Isra This means that every Muslim must recite Surat al-Israa every night following the example of the Sunnah of our Master Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, as was narrated on the authority of Amr Al-Shaibani that our master, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, used to recite Surat al-Israa to them in the dawn prayer.
