Potros ITSON is a mobile application promoted by the Technological Institute of Sonora. Its main objective is to provide users with a tool that allows them to consult their academic information.

This platform offers unlimited access to ITSON students and can be of great support for the different professional levels the institution offers to the community.

Access to the application is through the use of the ITSON student ID, which consists of 11 digits, and a password linked to institutional systems such as the Library, ITSON Virtual, Web Degree, Systems Portal, among others.

Regarding its structure, Potros ITSON allows users to consult their academic information, such as progress and general average, as well as the hours released for the intercultural program, healthy living, and social service (applicable only to undergraduate students).

Additionally, users can review the courses they have passed and are enrolled in, their class schedule, and, if they are on vacation due to the end of the semester, check their next registration appointment. It is also possible to check current outstanding balances for items such as tuition, library fees, lab fees, or documents, which is useful for avoiding delays in the registration process.

For students pursuing more than one degree program, the app allows students to view their academic history for both programs within the same platform. Users can also generate their student ID digitally from the app, facilitating their identification and access to institutional services.

The app also provides users with a help desk chat for problem resolution and direct communication via email. It also features a map of the institution's classrooms for better location on campus.

It is important to note that users will receive notifications related to various institutional notices, such as outstanding balances, upcoming registration appointments, cultural or sporting events, among others. These notifications are activated as long as the app is active.
