Mahjong Connect is a single-layer (also known as flat) Mahjong, where all tiles are arranged in a single tier. Tiles are traditionally removed in pairs, but the restrictions and rules for removal vary slightly. Due to the single-layer structure, most tiles are initially blocked, and you can only form pairs from those at the edges or adjacent to each other.

The first reminder becomes crucial when you haven’t cleared any pairs from the table for a long time. The timer carefully accounts for the time you spend contemplating your next move.
