Wake - This permission is needed to check for possible suspensions while the device is sleeping. This app is tailored to use the least amount of battery power using latest features in android. If you do not use alerts, this permission is not used; and frequency of alerts are configurable in settings.
Boot - This is needed to set the alerts back on when you switch on the device, if you choose enable the alerts feature. If alerts are turned off, this permission is not used at all.
