Rosslare tides is an application which displays low and high tides at Rosslare harbour for a range of dates. On launch the app shows tides for the current day.

The user can also toggle between tide times and tide heights by clicking (touching) the button on the main view. The app also features a date-picker option to allow tide times and heights to be viewed for a range of days up to two weeks ahead of the current date.

Data for the tides is hosted in a JSON(Javascript Object Notation) file on the internet and accessed using Javascript commands when the user launches the app or picks a new date from the date-picker.

When using the date-picker please continue to touch the calendar to dismiss the keyboard which will appear when first touched. Scroll forward the month if applicable and choose the future date you want to view tidal information for (touching the calendar to dismiss the keyboard whenever it appears).

The writer of the app takes no responsibility for the accuracy of the data therein. The application is for casual recreational use. If your personal safety in dependent on precise tidal information than you should consult other sources which are guaranteed to be highly accurate.
