Fable Fresh Foods is a multidimensional food creation and distribution system that promotes a fresh farm-to-table healthy lifestyle. As well as provides more visibility for direct purchase from rural Nigerian farmers who have been at the constant mercy of parasitic middlemen.
This is the main reason for the system: There is presently a huge issue of injustice carried out on hard-working local farmers by a parasitic tyrant group that refers to themselves as middlemen. These self-imposed middlemen act as go-between farmers and the buyers. These middlemen do not do a day of work but prey on farmers during harvest seasons. They are to be the ones in charge of transporting and selling their goods in local markets around Nigeria. They give the farmers a pittance for their produce and in turn, the middlemen massive profit on the farmer’s goods. This is the system Fable is changing.

What Fable is creating: The Fable eco-system stands to be both economic and environmental systems that have justice at the heart of its operations. In this system, we are creating and connecting everything within the system to flourish. This begins by making the farmer in charge of pricing his products.

But aren’t we the new middlemen? Yes. But only in the sense that we connect the farmer directly to the consumer and provide the mechanism that ensures a smooth transaction between both parties. We do not set the price for the farmers' produce at all. It is all in the farmer’s hands.

Why you should join the system: This is a system standing on the foundation and principles of justice, fairness, fair trade, environmental and economic sustainability. When we make sure everything around us flourishes, we all flourish. It is in our hands to become ethical consumers and heal our world of its brokenness.
