Mercato is considered Africa’s biggest market, an open air sprawl of vendors that goes on for kilometers; It’s one of those markets that weaves in all directions and you never know what you’re going to stumble into or what you’re going to find. At the market there’s a section for just about anything you can imagine. It covers several square miles and employs an estimated 13,000 people in 7,100 business entities.

This inspired us to create an app that allows users to just do that. With Merkato, you can easily search for services you’re looking for. You can search by name for zipcode. After identifying the service you want then you can easily reach the seller and they would get back to you as soon as possible.
