What is the PAEstar up to date?

It is a free application designed by the Government of Colombia to promote citizen participation in the School Feeding Program (PAE). It is also one of the main components of the new PAE Information System (SiPAE) that constitutes one of the main commitments of the Special Unit for School Feeding - Food to learn, to promote the transparency, quality and relevance of the PAE.

Who can access the PAEstar al día?

In its first version, the PAEstar al día allows the registration of:

1. The fathers, mothers and guardians of the children who are beneficiaries of the PAE.
2. The rectors, teachers and educational directors of all official educational establishments in the country.
3. The food handling personnel of the educational establishments that receive the PAE.
4. The representatives of the operators that deliver the PAE in the territory.
5. The representatives of the Certified Territorial Entities that operate the Program.

What does the PAEstar a day contain?

In its first version, the PAEstar up to date will allow you to:

1. Register to access personalized surveys by role and register to receive key information about the PAE.
2. Fill out surveys that will allow to continue strengthening the Program.
3. For teachers, principals, educational managers, manipulative personnel and representatives of the operators, this APP allows to fill out the characterization of the operating conditions of the PAE in the educational establishment, which will allow to better understand the needs of the educational establishments regarding the Program.

What are the main characteristics?

• It is a free application.
• Allows the collection of information without the need for an internet connection, which is sent automatically as soon as the cell phone connects to the internet.
• Collect information safely and in compliance with the regulations for the protection of personal data in the country.
• It allows to collect the georeferencing of educational establishments.
• It is an application in constant improvement, so it will add new functionalities over time.
