Usagi Tsukino is a typical understudy and crybaby clod who continually scores low on her tests. Suddenly, her modest life is flipped around when she saves a feline with a sickle moon on its head from risk. The feline, named Luna, later uncovers that their gathering was not a mishap: Usagi is bound to become Sailor Moon, a planetary gatekeeper with the ability to safeguard the Earth.
