TNI (Indonesian National Army) is the name of a military force from Indonesia. The beginning was formed by the name of the TKR (People's Security Army) then replaced with the name TRI (Army of the Republic of Indonesia). And at this time it was changed to TNI (Indonesian National Army). The TNI consists of three armed forces namely the Army, the Indonesian Air Force and the Navy. During the New Order the TNI was merged with the Indonesian National Police to become ABRI (Indonesian Armed Forces).
