The disease Groundnut Bud Necrosis Virus (GBNV) causes severe damage to tomato farming all over the world and is one of the prominent diseases to hamper its production levels on large scale.

The system developed by us is more precise compared to naked eye method to measure the Bud Blight caused by GBNV. It’s a useful tool for an individual farmer to measure the disease severity in less time for accurate recommendation of use of pesticide doses.

Our system is equipped to detect the actual percentage of disease severity by an effective use of image processing approach in agriculture. Only by sending an image, anyone will be able to see actual percentage of disease with a proper recommendation of pesticide.
