Misir Ali, a popular mysterious character created by Bangladesh's renowned novelist Humayun Ahmed. Ali's stories are mysterious. Misir Ali's storyline is not exactly a detective story, nor is it a murder-police retaliation, like 'crime fiction' or 'thriller', but is rooted in a psychological, science-based and rational argument. In many cases it is called mystery. Characteristically, the character of Misi Ali is in stark contrast to Humayun Ahmed's second unique creation Himu. The young Hemu goes on anti-logic persecution, while the elderly Misir Ali, on the other hand, follows pure logic. It is this argument that helps Misery Ali uncover the true nature of the mysterious world. These stories are reflected in each of Misir Ali's novels.
