Analytical chemistry is a branch of chemistry that focuses on the analysis of material footage to determine the composition, structure, and function of the chemical. Traditionally, analytical chemistry is divided into two types, qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative analysis aims to determine the existence of an element or chemical compound, both organic and inorganic, whereas quantitative analysis aimed to determine the amount of an element or compound in a trailer.

Based on the method, can be divided into analytical chemistry spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, chromatography and electrophoresis, crystallography, microscopy, and electrochemical.
