The knXpresso Nuki plug-in is an extension for knXpresso. The plug-in establishes the connection to the KNX bus. Thus, you can integrate the Smart Lock into your KNX system, as well as use the control and monitoring elements of the knXpresso app to control the Smart Lock.

Of course, you can continue to use the Nuki Smart Lock regardless of your KNX environment.

The plug-in communicates with the Nuki Bridge via an IP protocol. Telegrams from and to the KNX bus are converted accordingly. Here you can use both the Nuki Bridge as hardware version as well as the app Nuki Bridge for Android. The latter is particularly advantageous as you usually operate knXpresso on an Android device in 24/7 operation. The only requirement is that your Android device is in Bluetooth range to the installation location of the Smart Lock.
