In banknote printing, specific printing processes with unique characteristics are used to make it more difficult to counterfeit banknotes. This uniqueness is used in the app for authentication by means of simple scanning the banknote. In this case, it helps ValiCash distinguish genuine banknotes from counterfeits.

Please note that ValiCash for Android on some smartphone models is currently only supported to a limited extent. This means that only manual authentication support is currently available on these devices.

The more users with the same smartphone model install the app, the faster automatic authentication of banknotes for the model will be implemented.
