This KontroliD mobile add-on allows you to capture an image of the fingerprint in digital format so that it can be attached to a PDF report.

The capture is done from one of the most popular biometric readers on the market, the Digital Persona U are. U 4500 and now the new EIKON TOUCH 710 that is of capacitive technology that saves more energy and comes with direct connection to the cell phone and a short 50 cm cable.

To use it from KontroliD, a text-type question is included in the form, apparently placing the call to the external application: ex: com.kontrolid.digital.fingerScan with the corresponding parameters.
This plugin requires 3 external input parameters or variables:

prefix (Optional): Prefix text to include for the image file name. Which allows you to create custom names like this: prefix_time stamp .jpg. If omitted it is set as fp.
Example: prefix = ’cali’.

direct (Optional) = ‘true’ When defined, the application automatically returns the result to kontrolid.
