This app uses your mobile phone to scan product barcodes for names and prices to create Shopping List.

How to use

Shopping List
1.Scan items in the house that are running out. Hold the phone 2-5 inches away from the barcode to focus the image, press scan, and wait until it completes. A scan will acquire the name and price of the item, which will add to the total of all scanned results. If the item does not exist in the database, a prompt will appear for manual entry. The entry can be saved and added to the database. Press the + or - to edit the quantity.

2.Add is for entering items without barcodes, such as fresh products, to the list. It can also serve as a reminder to pay other expenses (e.g. electricity bills, rent).

3.Search by enter parts of the name of the product to search. Add space between words to search more accurately (e.g. diet pepsi). Products' prices and images will be displayed to choose from. Pressing on one will add it to the list.

4.Delete All will delete all entries in the list.

5.Compare Prices Pressing an item on the list will display price comparisons from different stores (if the store provides the data).

6. Toggle Read-Aloud Mode Shopping List can be set to speak item names, prices, and totals. Click again to mute.

7. Exporting Data The scanned item list can be exported to other applicable applications that you have on your device (e.g. Line, Messenger, Email) for purposes such as archiving or sharing the list with a family member.

8.Saved List The name and price of saved items in the local database can be edited so that subsequent scanning lists will be more accurate.

9.Shop when the list is ready. Shop at the store you want, with the price and quantity you choose.


Shopping Time
1.Scanning or Pressing the name of the purchased item will change it from red to green. This allows editing of prices (if inaccurate), and editing with +/- icons to increase or decrease the qof items to shop

2.Toggle Read-Aloud Mode Shopping List can be set to speak item names, prices, and totals. Click again to mute.

3.Set Budget Allows users to set budget limits. While shopping, continue to scan items until the total value reaches the set budget. Shopping List will notify users with a message and sound. This allows opportunities to shop with store promotions in mind for e.g. discounts and bonuses.

4.Export Data The scanned item list can be exported to other applicable applications that you have on your device (e.g. Line, Messenger, Email) for purposes such as archiving or sharing the list to a family member.

5. Saved List The name and price of saved items in the local database can be edited so that subsequent scanning lists will be more accurate.
