Queen is a rock band from the United Kingdom formed in 1970 in London. It originally consisted of Freddie Mercury (vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals). Queen's early work was influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but slowly turned towards more conventional and friendly music with radio listeners, including a more diverse style of music into their music.
