Importance of prayer in the Holy Quran:

It is mentioned in the Holy Qur'an - وقعل ربكم ادعوني استجب لكم ان النذيه يستكبرون عن عبدادى سيدخلون جهمن داخرين - (Al-Mu'min-60) Meaning: Your Lord says, Call on Me, I will answer your call.

It is mentioned in the Holy Quran regarding morning and evening Ziqi, (احزاب meaning: O believers! Remember Allah more and proclaim the holiness and glory of Allah in the morning and evening. (Ahzab-41) Hazrat Ibn Abbas (R.A.) said, Allah Ta'ala has not imposed any duty except Zikr, which has its scope and amount. not specified

Prayers are five times a day and the number of rakats for each prayer is fixed. Ramadan fasting is for a fixed period. Hajj is also the name of special events and specific activities at special places. Zakat is also obligatory once a year. On the other hand, the Zikr of Allah is a form of worship, which has no limit or set number. There is no specific duration or standing or sitting position prescribed for it. The Importance of Ziqir Dua in the Light of Hadith: Narrated by Hazrat Jabir Ibn Samurah (RA), he said, Muslim meaning: The Prophet (PBUH) used to sit in his place of prayer (and recite tasbeeh-dhikr) until sunrise after the Fajr prayer. (Muslim)

Another hadith came from Abu Musa al-Shaari, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Like the believer who remembers his Lord and those who do not remember his Lord, the example of the living and the dead narrated by al-Bukhari and narrated by Muslim. Allah is like the living and the dead. Meaning: On the authority of Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (R.A), he said, The Prophet (S.A.W) said, "The example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember his Lord is like the living and the dead." (Bukhari)

There is another narration of Muslim, then he said, the example of the houses in which the remembrance of Allah is mentioned and the house in which the remembrance of Allah is not is like that of the living and the dead. The meaning of the phrase هو العبادة may be that every prayer is a dua.

Rasulullah (s.a.w.) said, there is nothing more honorable to Allah than supplication. (Tirmidhi)
He also said, الدعاء مخ العبادة Meaning: Dua is the brain of worship. (Tirmidhi) also narrated, من لم يسيل الله يغرب عليه (ترمذى) Meaning: Whoever does not ask Allah, Allah is angry with him. It has also been narrated that, "Whoever answers Allah's response to suffering and suffering, let the prayer be more abundant in mercy." ترمذى Meaning: A person who wants his prayers to be accepted in the time of danger, then he should pray more and more in all situations, whether happy or sad.
