Qom is a language primarily spoken in the Paraguayan and Argentinian Chaco. Although Qom exists in all these parts often the spelling and sometimes the pronunciation can vary by region. This app was developed in partnership with over 60 teachers from the community Rosarina Cerrito-Franciscano in Presidente Hayes, Paraguay in hopes of being a resource for anyone interested in learning the language. In addition to the teachers, critical collaborators include Mark Lobin who led managed all activities in relation to the development of the app and Eugen Amadeus Benz who served as a linguist in the standardization of the language. This version is an expansion of the first version of the app done with Professor Eriberto Caballero serving as a Qom language specialist and Alma Perez who was instrumental in cross cultural communication, language recording and analysis.
