dinkzs is a pickleball app designed for finding new people to play with, and aims to play a key role in the exponential growth of pickleball.

dinkzs was born out of the difficulty that exists for those looking to find people locally who are also actively seeking to play.

dinkzs users can update their location to find players in the area and choose whether they want to match or pass on the other person’s player card. When both players match with each other, they become friends and can chat to set up pickleball play.

The functionality is easy, quick, and as straightforward as can be, as the dinkzs app seeks only to connect pickleball players with new people they can play with. The goal is to get people matching, playing, and quite possibly even spending time with each other outside of just pickleball.

In dinkzs, There is no functionality for courts or tournaments, as our goal is purely to connect pickleball players with others. Sure, you can go to a court by yourself and introduce yourself to a group, but how many people are actually doing that? dinkzs allows players to match and agree in advance, so you no longer have to roll up to courts on your own hoping to play.

There is a toggle button on the home page of the app where a user can go to “Couples Mode,” as long as they have a couple’s card created with their significant other. This mode allows couples to find each other and play pickleball together.

If a user chooses not to use “Couples Mode,” they do not have to set up a couples account, and they will not be able to view any couples card if they toggle to that mode.
