The main activity of the company is the retail sale of commercial food and non-food goods. The departments are divided into food, technical and textile departments. Jager stores started their business in the summer of 1989, when Franc and Marija Jager opened the first Jager store in Tržišče in Rogaška Slatina. From the beginning, the whole family was involved in the company's operations. In the 1930s, the initially small company grew into a large Slovenian family trading company, Jagros d.o.o.; recognizable under the name Trgovine Jager.

Our main activity is the retail sale of food, technology and textiles. In 1989, we started doing business with four employees, and today our team numbers over 850 employees. The company has been doing business successfully since its inception and has always been committed to respecting business practices and preferentially supplies itself in the local environment. Today, the company is managed by the brothers Aleš and Boštjan Jager as directors.
Renata Jager manages the personnel, and the third generation of our family, Urša, Nik and Dona, are already active in the company.

Jager stores are recognized by consumers for their quality products, low prices and qualified and friendly salespeople. In the company, we are aware that employees are the key to our success, so we offer them a friendly, safe and stable working environment. Low prices, high-quality services and a friendly, qualified staff undoubtedly contribute to gaining the trust of our customers, who visit us faithfully despite the high competition on the retail market.

We want to preferentially offer goods from Slovenian manufacturers on the sales shelves; with many of them, we have forged true partnership and friendship relationships over the course of three decades.

We use the advantage, for the Slovenian situation, of a large company in the global field, and a small one that adapts more easily and quickly to the demands of its consumers.
