Lutso helps the elderly live longer at home — safely and with dignity.
It's a non-wearable home device that uses privacy-first computer vision to detect emergencies and share critical insights with caregivers.
No buttons. No wearables. No intrusive cameras.
⸻
HOW IT WORKS
Install the Lutso device in your loved one's home, connect to a Wi-Fi network and download the app.
The device tracks daily life patterns and well-being by processing the entire dataset locally.
Caregivers will be notified immediately if something is wrong. If no one responds, Lutso can automatically call for help.
Lutso also notices early signs of health deterioration before they become emergencies, and his reports offer actionable recommendations for maintaining quality of life.
⸻
DETECTED EMERGENCIES
• Falls
• Fire or flood
• Immobility or wandering
• Not returning home
Unlike pendants or smartwatches, Lutso never needs to be worn, pressed or charged.
⸻
WEEKLY WELFARE REPORTS
• Changes in mobility
• Night wandering
• Toilet behavior patterns
• Repetitive clothing
• Decrease in activity
• Irregular eating patterns
These early signs help families take action before small changes turn into medical emergencies.
⸻
PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Lutso uses a computer vision sensor, not a regular camera - no live view, no tracking.
All analysis is done locally on the device; audio is not recorded continuously and raw video never leaves home.
Only encrypted event summaries are sent to the cloud for notifications and reviews.
Even when a notification is triggered, caregivers only see important text-based information—never a personal video image.
Optional Emergency Clip transmits a 15-second end-to-end encrypted video only to legally authorized caregivers and automatically deletes it after transmission.
Privacy is not a feature — it is the foundation of Lutso.
⸻
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Lutso is not a medical device and is not a substitute for emergency services. In an emergency, call 112 (in Europe) or your local emergency services.
