The Palazzo della Borsa, seat of the Naples Chamber of Commerce, is a building rich in history, not only architectural, but also for events and important decisions for the economy of the territory taken in rooms and corridors dating back to the late 1800s. In these one hundred years and more of activity, men and women have taken turns to administer the Body and to lead the companies, now reached about 340 thousand, making the Naples Chamber of Commerce the third largest in Italy in order of importance after Milan and Rome.
The personalities who administered the Authority from 1800 to a few years ago, however illustrious and authoritative only a trace remains in the historical archives, however the historical furnishings, paintings and busts that have looked at them, scrutinized them, served them, remain alive and always present of a time and that with severe or melancholy gaze continue to observe us today acting as a precious frame which is representation.
The project "The Art in the Chamber" was born with the aim of telling these perennial witnesses of our commitment, which in fact represent the art, culture, history of the Chamber of Naples and of an important period such as that of the '800 and early' 900.
