Hammoud was born in Kuwait on January 24, 1989. Hammoud moved with his parents in his first year to the United Kingdom, where he spent part of his childhood, where his father was preparing for his doctorate in psychology. The family lived in England for five years before returning to Kuwait again to his native Kuwait, where he still resides.

Hammoud holds a BA in Media from the College of Arts, Kuwait University. He has completed several music training courses with Berkeley College of Music. He also received singing training in Toronto, Canada, by voice coach Eileen Overholt.
