The application allows the user to navigate between pages alternating between the proposed contents on the Diabetic Foot theme, being able to choose between topics that address all related content, or on specific subjects, which present information relevant to it. It is also possible to search for keywords, which may be these, belonging to a specific content or topic, in order to make it easier for the user to locate specific information more quickly and effectively. The screens created integrate the elements necessary for the assessment, risk classification and care of the feet of people with Diabetes Mellitus with the sequence of the exam, the clinical findings with the recommendations, the recommended periodicity for the evaluation of the diabetic foot and the importance of the evaluation of according to epidemiological data. In “Assessment of the Diabetic Foot” he shows in detail the step-by-step clinical examination of the feet (inspection, palpation and neurological evaluation), the instruments used for the evaluation, a protocol for the evaluation of the feet (with access to download the form for impression) followed by an instructional video on the assessment of the diabetic foot, as well as the assessment and classification of wounds. In “Treatment of the diabetic foot”, it explains how to treat the changes identified in the evaluation of the diabetic foot, as well as the guidelines on self-care to avoid wounds. In the last topic, “Assessment of knowledge”, it refers to a questionnaire with 15 questions to assess the evolution of content knowledge about the diabetic foot.
