Blue and Safe Tourism is a line of research promoted by the University of Cádiz, which is being worked on within the University Institute for Sustainable Social Development (INDESS) from the COEDPA Social Laboratory, its external collaborators and associated entities. The objective of the research team is to contribute to developing a new Blue, Safe, Intelligent, Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism Model.
Internationalize the image of Andalusia through the promotion of landscaping and historical heritage linked to the sea, the way of life and the idiosyncrasies of Andalusian coastal tourist destinations, taking into account the elements of safety, accessibility and sustainability within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
This application is an innovative pedagogical tool on a new, more intelligent, inclusive and sustainable Blue and Safe Tourism model that values Andalusian natural and human resources.
Provide information, training and technological and innovative solutions that connect the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with people, companies and institutions within the framework of coastal tourism.
Our objective is to materialize the blue and safe tourism model that we propose from the University Institute for Research and Sustainable Social Development (INDESS) of the University of Cádiz through the Zero Risk 2030 application, which pilots in a holistic way on the elements security, sustainability and inclusiveness, which is our value proposition compared to other applications in the tourism sector on the market.
