ADVANCE, ADVANCE or GAIN MECHANICAL
• It is the percentage difference between the pull of the front tire with respect to the rear ground-based equipment in 4x4. There are two types of improvements: cinemático which is the rotation difference of the front and rear axles, and the actual static feed, measured as traction on the ground. The advance is important so that the front wheel has auxiliary function on the rear wheel, should be positive between 1.5% and 3% for better performance traction.

PROCEDURE
• To assess progress, the equipment must be loaded with the pressures of fitting tires as the machine manufacturer's manual and / or tires. Position the machine on firm, level ground without incidence of shadow at the base tire for better identification of the soil in the images, if required maneuver the machine so that pictures have similar lighting. In case of very dark soils it is recommended to select the base tire with white chalk for better identification of the threshold tire contact with the ground.
