Kim Seok-jin, better known by his mononym Jin, is a singer, songwriter and member of the group BTS from South Korea. As a songwriter he has five songs accredited to his name.

BTS Kim Seok-jin was offered to join BTS when he was 15 years old by someone he met on the street, but he didn't accept the offer. While BTS Kim Seok-jin was studying acting, he was discovered because of his appearance by the casting manager.

BTS Kim Seok-jin debuted as one of the four vocalists of BTS on June 13, 2013 on Mnet's M Countdown with the song "No More Dream" from their debut album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. Although he has written songs before, BTS's Kim Seok-jin first co-produced a solo track from the Wings album "Awake".
