The book "Aspirations" is divided in to two short novels - "A Journey To Remember" and "A Roof Under The Indian Sky".

The first story is about a Malayali Christian girl who lives in cosmopolitan Mumbai. She is facing her board exams and the exams dominate every event of the young girl's life. In spite of it all, she finds time to contemplate about her unique culture, and even indulge in a little romance.

The second story is about a young woman torn between India and America while pursuing a PhD. She drifts between the two countries never quite able to decide where
she must finally settle down.
