The game of Dots and boxes begins with a rectangular grid of dots. Two players alternate moves connecting adjacent dots with a horizontal or vertical line. If a player completes the fourth side of a square, the player claims the square (or box). When all the vertical and horizontal lines are filled, the player who got the most boxes win.
