A Tale of Two Cities is a historical novel written by Charles Dickens and published in 1859. The main characters of the novel are the French doctor Manet and his daughter Lucy. There are two cities mentioned in this novel, the two cities are Paris and London. The novel also features various aspects of French doctor Manet's 18-year imprisonment, released from prison to live in London with his daughter Lucy.
