How MedGoPlus Uses Device Features
MedGoPlus uses certain device features only to support core healthcare services:
- Camera & Microphone: Used during video and audio consultations and for profile photo uploads
- Location: Helps patients find nearby doctors for home consultations
- Notifications: Used for consultation updates and incoming call alerts
- File access: Allows users to upload prescriptions, certificates, and profile images using Android system file pickers (Storage Access Framework)
- Bluetooth: Supports headsets or earphones during consultations
- Contacts (optional): Allows users to invite or refer contacts, only when explicitly initiated by the user
- Foreground services are used only during active video or audio consultations to ensure uninterrupted communication when the app is in the background. A persistent notification is displayed while a consultation is in progress, and the service stops immediately once the call ends.

All access is user-initiated, limited to essential functionality, and handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Privacy & Security
MedGoPlus follows a privacy-first approach. Personal data is collected only to deliver healthcare services and is securely stored. Users can request account deletion at any time. Certain medical and payment records may be retained only as required by applicable healthcare and financial regulations.

Home consultations are currently available in Vizag. Video consultations are available across India.
